[OM] Main diff btw 0M3Ti & 4Ti?

1987-  OM-4Ti 
1995- OM-3Ti
If the OM4Ti came out BEFORE the OM3Ti you would think the numbers would
be 3 then 4. 
The OM4Ti should be the 3 and the OM3Ti should be the 4?
Stupid question; what are the main differences?
I got the OM4Ti because I thought it was the last of OM production,
Now I got to trade up?
