Here is an interesting Japanese website where the owner is making small
production runs
(~100) of mechanical adapters for the SD9/Foveon digi cameras to Leica, Nikon
etc. He does not
list OM but if you struggle through the translated Japanese English on the
website, it looks
plausible to make an OM mount. The illustrated Nikon-SD9 adapter is 0.5mm
thicker because the
Nikon register is 46.5mm rather than OM 46mm. It is not completely clear, but
it appears he
removes the SD9 Flange to get an extra 1.1mm of thickness so he has more leeway.

Currently the SD9 bodies sell for approx $900-$1100 new on ebay, not bad for
approx 6Mpixel
comparative performance with low artifacts.
If enough people mailed him maybe he would do a flange adapter?

Tim Hughes
