I think that the real problem with the younger generation is 
settling for convenience over quality, 

Homemade meal/fast-food  

Live music and vinal/mpeg3

Film/digital 

Theater/TV, TV is junk food to the mind.

And with the rise of ADD it's hard to convince them otherwise.
Go to the Greek Theater in LA with a homemade meal and wine, listening
to live music sitting under the stars with my OM will do :)

Yeah, with their intellect they "think" mp3 is good enough.  But guess
what?  They don't spend much time in front of the music
because it doesn't "captivate" their attention.
