Yeah, with their intellect they "think" mp3 is good enough. But guess what?
They don't spend much time in front of the music
because it doesn't "captivate" their attention.
There's more to music than what the intellect perceives and my low-end CD
playback comes up short in the "captivating" category.
Stereophile has been writing about this for decades.
Until you've heard a grand piano from 4 feet away you haven't heard a piano.
Until you've heard a rock band when everyone's plugged
into their OWN AMP, you haven't heard a rock band. Until you've put freshly
ground black pepper on your dinner, you haven't had
black pepper.
