And quick preview of a mounted slide with the scan resolution set at
5400ppi (using Vuescan's measurements) gives me about209Mb.
I don't need files that big Mike, but it means that I can choose the
size and I can get every bit out of a decent slide. I tend to save my
files as JPEG2000 now as well to save disk space.
