In addition to this and the other info/advice already posted, I
understand (I believe from John H.) that Oly will still replace circuits
in OM-4T(i)s for a few years, whearas they will not repair plain '4's.
'4' circuits can still be replaced in theory, but the cost is
uneconomic, i.e. greater than another working camera.
From a pure age standpoint, which, as Jim points out, may have nothing
to do with actual longevity of a particular camera, it is quite posible
for a 4 with T curcuit to have newer circuitry than a T(i). My workhorse
4s have the newer circuits.

IMHO a currently working OM-4 would be a fine idea. Obviously, a 4t or
upgraded 4 would be better.
