None of the shots felt like a cliche to me Marc. And your having
visualised the shots in mono changes my appreciation of them.
As gadgets, as well as image-making tools, I like both the c5050 and
the Powershot G5. I often teeter on the edge of selling something to
go out and buy one, but it is their apparent transience that prevents
me. My computer is enough transience for me.
But your shots bring me closer to the "brink" again... ;-)

Perhaps, but it is a view I share in some significant ways.
All of the shots that appear in mono' were "pre-visualised"
in mono' except for the pigeon shots (which might be telling me
something :-) ). They were taken in colour, however,
partly because I like options, and partly because taking
them in colour gives the opportunity to adjust different
tones based on the colour (sort of like red and green
filters).
