Nothing per se against Garry.
However, I am mystified why the list owner/administrator should have to do
this when is is SO INCREDIBLY SIMPLE to turn off HTML and send email in
pure ASCII.
Why is there a compulsion to send email using HTML?
It is entirely wasted bandwidth and adds ZERO value to meaning and content.
Putting a program on the server to strip HTML falls into the same category
of things I do battle with every day at work. It's inspection and
containment at the END of the process. If it's done correctly at the
outset, inspection and containment is unnecessary.

the list owner might want to contact the Pure_Silver list owner. He has
a program/script that does just that, so AOL users can post and it
strips the html.
