B was in production 1979-1983, BB from 1983.
My B has a reversible hood, but with only one thread - it is held on by the
flock lining, and tucks into the tripod mount. Whi knows whether it is the
orginal hood - Tamron website lists only 28FH for both B and BB.

My BB has this type of hood. I thought the BB came after the B. The BB
doesn't have the tripod mount that the B has, but comes with an extender
piece for the camera's tripod bush instead.
