Exactly. I am just saying that lets not judge the 40/2 based on one jpg :-)
It is by no mean a great lens, but I do love the size.
However, I love the close-up as an abstract image on its own merits, esp.
the top half.

(hence it is on ImageCraft, rather than dragonsgate), but I think you
will see that the original is really better. There are some color
artifact that comes from the conversion to sRGB space but you can see the
harsh lines are not as bad.
