Not so fast. I am still incline to think that it's an artifact of some
Photoshop operations, may be downsizing from the original 4000 DPI to the
800 pixels (across) image. Here's a full size crop of the flower:

(hence it is on ImageCraft, rather than dragonsgate), but I think you will
see that the original is really better. There are some color artifact that
comes from the conversion to sRGB space but you can see the harsh lines are
not as bad.
Again, the Kodak 8500 output is even better. I have no idea why.
