OK, this was a question I asked a while ago, and nobody gave me an
answer, and it REALLY BOTHERED me...
So..
I'm reading my Shutterbug catalog... And... Tada!!
OK, if I have a 50mm lens, I can "Macro-ize" it by adding an extention
tube...
So... If I have a digital camera, and the lens groups are "tucked" away
when not in use, that means, the entire assembly of lenses, are on rails
and motorized movement. If I move the entire setup out about 1/4cm, at
the size of the ccd and the lens, that's probably equal to a pretty
large extention tube on a regular 35mm..
:-D I solved my own riddle.. Just thought I'd share..
