I managed to bag a Zuiko135/ f2.8 all the way from Atlanta, USA while
sitting at Calcutta, India in just under 8 days.:-) The story goes as
follows:
A senior colleague was going on a short business trip(7 days) to California.
I seized the opportunity to get myself a Zuiko from KEH, although I knew
that it would be difficult to pull it off in such a short time. I had given
her the details required to order the item from KEH. We were out of touch
for the first half of the week and the lens disappeared from KEH. I thought,
'Better luck next time', but surprise..... My colleague, who by the way is
least interest in SLRs, surprised me by managing to get the lens in spite of
her hectic schedule.
The lens is a KEH bargain grade 135mm/f2.8. The lens barrel has no brassing
of any sort but there is a small mark on the rear element. The front ring
says MC, so it must be the later version, SL# 206491.
Had to share my joy with all of you. Now to test the glass :-)
