I sent him $90 dollars and he left me positive feedback. What he wanted
was the lens and some money so that he can turn it around for a profit.
Getting his money returned for the lens was never the objective. The
insistence on getting two way postage refunded as well as the item cost
was to get a partial refund, because he knew I would have refunded
purchase cost no questions asked. I saw this coming , because he deals
equipment, yet paid near the top to get the item. I tend to look at the
final outcome of things when confronted with such decisions. I figured I
had more to lose in the long run if I got into a squabble. I sell some
other things on ebay, and my only competitor also has 100 0.000000eedback, so
that one negative would have been the only difference between us, in the
eyes of a buyer.
