If you've got a web site that you can use to post copies of the email
you probably don't have to worry about a little bad feedback. Probably
most ebuyers are familiar with inappropriate/revenge feedback. If you
can show what happened I doubt many people would be concerned by a
single bad feedback. If you leave feedback he will almost surely take
revenge.
But base your decision on the numbers. Will your pocket book be
significantly hurt if you get it back and try to sell it again? Are you
sure that there wasn't something you missed? If the $ are significant
and you are certain you didn't miss anything stay calm and do what you
believe to be right. Keep in mind some people such as myself who buy EX
from KEH receive items that look new to them. That may be what they were
expecting if you describe it as such.
My single neutral came as revenge to feedback I left after filing a
fraud complaint to get the guy to ship me an XA. I haven't bothered to
post the info on a website but could easily show the guy was bad news. I
probably will if I ever get around to putting a few excess odds and ends
up for sale. If an e*ayer has a lot of only positive feedback, he is
very lucky, good at negotiating acceptable compromises, AND not
contributing to "policing" the system.
Good luck and best wishes,

So do I eat the shipping, or the
$100.00 or have this guy ruin my feedback if I don't submit to his
extortion ?
