OK, I'm going to embarrass myself royally here... but I've used a T32 on
an OM-2n with a Shoe 4 with no damage to the camera... but ripped the
hot shoe foot off the flash when I absentmindedly picked the assembly up
by the flash. Is there any way I can fix the flash for less than the
price of a replacement one?

I guess it all depends. I used a T32 on and OM-1 and OM-2n for years
without anything breaking, or even bending. Perhaps I am gentler with
my equipment than some people. I did have to watch that the shoe
didn't work loose, but that was all.
