I did not rely on finding a place to dry out silica gel, just took 3
weeks worth of packets. I was glad I did. Some places there just isn't a
place to dry them. I was glad not to have to try to borrow sombody's
oven. I don't want to be hanging around trying to use the only oven for
miles around while I could be out doing what I came for, seeing nature
and taking pictures. Hassling with a cook in Spanish over use of the
kitchen where s/he is trying to make my next meal isn't my idea of fun.
