Sounds interesting... However the Velbon 343 does not seem to be
available here in France. I could not find it in a recent Velbon
catalog, nor on the Velbon site on the Web, only on the Hakuba USA
site. And no tripod in the Velbob catalog appears to be the same
under a different namer.

Here's a repost of part of a thread on small, easy to pack/carry
tripods from Jan. Others also had good things to say about the 343.
