On the basis that colour filters in B & W lighten their own colours and
darken their compliments in the final print, a green filter would darken the
generally red / brown coloured zits and pimples and pinkish skin tones of a
white / caucasian person. Darkening up the skin tones of such a person
might work but not at the expense of accentuating scars, pimples, and other
skin blemishes.
