AH! but don't forget that this was recommended at a time when;
1. Men were men and want to look like it- scares and all of life's skid
marks. They didn't want the Tom Cruise smooth, they went for Bogart rugged.
2. Pimple faced boys were given the soft focus lens/slight overexposure
treatment.
3 An this was the age when massive retouching of the negative, a lost art,
was S.O.P..
