Others have commented on the double exposure capability. Other things
that make it unique amoung OM mount cameras are:
1. 1/125 sec. flash sync speed.
2. Vertical, metal shutter
3. Fully mechanical shutter combined with self timer aperture and mirror
prefire.
Gary was very interested in the issue of vibration, as you can see from
many of the tests. The OM2000 provides both the prefire and a shutter
that creates vibration in a direction 90 deg. different from the other
OMs. This may have had an influence on his choice. The 1/2000 speed may
have ben important for getting useful exposures over such a wide range.
Other than its unique features, it's not a very interesting camera.
doesn't look, feel or sound like an OM. But it does the basics, holding
the film flat and in proper relationship to the lens, prociding accurate
exposure information and proper shutter speeds.

Hi Folks,
I've seen on Gary's lens-test site where he has used the OM2000 quite a bit.
Yet in the last digest somebody noted that it is a despised camera. Is this
because it is a C*s*n* product, or are there deeper reasons?.
This curious person wants to know. Brian
