Hi All
To add my 2 cents, I've dug into most of the popular compact rfs of the 70's
and was most impressed by the Konica S3. All auto-shutter priority...but
brightest viewfinder, small, light and not over engineered (QL 17 G III) or
confusing to work on (OLY 35 RD). Has a neat ambient lighting feature that
works with any flash. Supposedly the "best" lens of its' length/speed ever
tested by Modern Photo (I think I got that misquote right). Uses the d76
series battery. Was made by the same company that made the armored personal
carrier of SLRs the T series.
Just a thought
