Manual exposure meter position is all that's affected, since auto is read
off the curtain / film.

I have a Beattie in my OM-2n. J. Hermanson recalibrated the Auto exposure
to take it into account. It is _very_ much brighter, I find even brighter
than my 2 series screen in my 4Ti. However, I find the 2 series screen
easier to focus. I'm not sure why. I think it's because I've ceased using
the split-screen in the middle, and mostly use the ground glass. The glass
on the Beattie is finer (?) don't know if that's the right word. I like
mine.
