This is getting silly. I found a *perfect* specimen of this lens. From the
look of the mount, it had almost never been used. There on the third element
in from the rear was the (now) expected coating of something (speckled this
time). Given the low usage of the lens, it shouldn't be oil thrown from the
diaphragm mechanism, or every single one would have it. If it's fungus, why
always the same element. Why always this design? When will I find one worth
buying?
