Unless you didn't mean it as a joke, its just
a rumor ! Look at the URL.. :)
Secondly, DigCams have been going up 1-2 MP/year
approx., and a jump to 11 MP will have to be taken with
a mountain of salt.
Thirdly, what does "effective" mean ?
