in the end, it boils down to three important things:
1 how large you will be viewing the slide or printing the negative
2 how far the subject is from you
3 how steady you can get. for noncritical (meaning you won't be blowing the
prints up to poster size), your stability is what determines the outcome. I can
snap off decent shots at 1/60, or 1/30 if i
really try hard.
