This is developing in a very interesting thread and making screw-specialists
of all of us! (I really like those 2inch books full of tools and
materials:-)
However, I always follow the tactic of
a. being very carefull;
b. to feel how the screw reacts, and never force anything (if necessary,
take a rest);
c. I only have a few good quality tools and screwdrivers in 6 sizes from
'very small to small', until now, they've never let me down (apart from my
attempt to remove a top cover of a Pen FT...);
d. Patience.
if this doesn't work after two weeks, I look for a good technician!
