I thought the FP/X switch only affects the hot-shoe on the OM-1
and not the OM-1n, whose hot-shoe is always "X". I had a whole
vacation's flash pictures ruined because the switch on my OM-1
got tripped to FP accidentally and I didn't notice it. After
that, I got myself an OM-1n and didn't worry about it since.
My understanding is that the FP/X switch on the OM-1n only affects
the socket and not the hot-shoe.
