I assume that on a OM1n it makes no difference with a flash mounted on the
hot shoe if its set at X or FP, but on an OM1 it has to be set at X if the
flash is mounted on the shoe...Is this correct? Marty

That is why John Hermanson as part of a a CLA will disable the switch
for you so that it is always X.
