Uh, maybe I should ask it a different way. When doing macro with my
trusty OM-1n, I would like to use manual flash, so I know what the
f-stop should be for normal work, but how does one figure out how much
more I need to open up? Is it best to work with magnification ratios
(i.e. 1:3), or with the extension measurement?
Thanks!

Effective f# = (m+1)*(marked f#), where m is magnification
In stops, it's log((m+1)**2)/log(2)
