I don't have street prices handy, or pircing from the 70s, but I do have
a price list from Olympus, about 1983/84 or so. List price on an OM-1n
body only was $350 chrome $380 black. OM-2n was $430 chrome, and $460
black. The OM-4 listed at $685 for body only. A 50 f/1.8 would add $100
to the list price.

Just curious, what was the cost of a new OM-1n and OM-2n
in the mid to late seventies?

I have a December 1980 Modern Photography. The ad in the back from
Tri-State Camera in New York City lists the OM1N body for $172.95,
OM2n body for $307.95, and OM10 for 147.95. I think that is less than
current "like new in box" price. Their prices were a little better
than B&H's ad in the same issue. Many, many camera stores no longer
in existence.
