I think John need proof, there is no CDR which is 50 years old yet and
please note Music CD made by press is different with CDR, CDR also use
chemical.

I dbout CDR will be popular for another decade, music CD may be. All
CDR will be replaced by DVD-R/W soon as the price of DVD R/W is
getting cheap. Within five years the price of DVD writer will be same
as today's CD writer.
