I got my 24/2.8 for a little over £100, i.e. a similar price to the Tamron.
Condition was a bit scruffed but all glass and mechanics very clean. One of
my most used lenses.
I notice Mifsuds (no connection la la) have 2 - £99 and £149.

Subject: [OM] 24mm Tamron vs Vivitar
Date: Sat, 25 May 2002 00:10:32 +0100 (BST)
I am building my kit around a nice OM2 and I am
looking for a cheap 24mm lens , I cant afford Zuiko :(
but I saw 2 nice lenses in www.ffordes.com - one is a
Vivitar 24mm f2.0 in vg condition for £43 and a Tamron
24mm F2.5 for £110 in E++ condition , I don't know a
lot about those lenses , Is anyone have experience
with this ,Is it better to go for the cheapest one in
case they both in good condition?
Comments.
