Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on the relative quality and

Hi Winsor,
I've been using a Manfrotto 441 for about a year and have been satisfied
with the build quality and rigidity so far. I've read that some people are
dissatisfied with the rigidity when the center post is extended but I don't
shoot that way so I don't know if it's a real problem or not with "Olympus
weight" equipment. One thing you might strongly consider is the method of
adjusting the leg length. I have a Gitzo monopod and, from experience,
knew that I'd hate the idea of unscrewing and screwing the legs to adjust
the length of a tripod. The clamps on the Manfrotto have worked very well.
Later,
Johnny
