Upon close inspection of the OM-2S, I've taken care to study the
pressure plate very closely. It seems to be providing an
adequate pressure to the film.
What I found interesting, was that the take-up sprocket (not the
spindle, but the sprocket dohicky) moves up and down about 2mm.
Is this normal? I'll be checking the OM-4 tonight, but this
seems to be the only possibility that I can think of.
If I've got my directions right, the film is riding high in the
take-up chamber. Maybe I need to adjust my film loading method.
Maybe a spot of super-glue?
Settle, John, settle. I'll use a dab of bubble-gum first.
