This brings up another subject dear to my heart. Am I the only
one who peels those little gold, football-shaped (American
football) "Passed" stickers off as soon as I take whatever it is
out of the box? A few months ago I bought an OM-1n. The camera
looked nearly new, and that stupid little sticker looked even
newer, still stuck to the side of the pentaprism. It had to have
been there -- what? -- a quarter century? It's not there now.
When I bought my OM-4Ti last year, brand new from B&H, the sticker
came off before the batteries went in.
It may just be a personal thing, but those stickers to me are like
leaving the price tag on stuff. End of rant. I do keep boxes,
though, and every scrap of paper with writing on it.
Does "anal retentive" have a hyphen?
