I just sent Hans $23 for the eSIF on cd. I think that is a great deal. I
also have Skip's data downloaded on my PC. I like the .xls data better that
the graphs because with the headings I get a better sense of condition, and
as we all know that affects price greatly. The trouble with sales data (as
opposed to the eSIF) is sales data needs constant updating. So while I'll
download historical sales data for free I don't think I'd purchase it on CD
as a one time purchase. I would be willing to pay say $20 per year for
either access to data on the web that was updated monthly, or for a
quarterly update on CD or download from the web. The data would need to be
at least as detailed as Skip's file with individual sales, as I would not
pay for just high, low, average type data.
Anyone with Gary Reese's email is encouraged to forward this to him.
Cheers!

I have the data for all OM mount sales of generic lenses worth over
US$50. It goes back 4 years. I'm unconvienced that enough people are
willing to pay for good data, so it's getting statistically crunched on
a time available basis. What I do with it is still up in the air.
Feel free to post this response on the OM List.
