Jim...Someone posted www.cameraquest.com site where I found it shared honors
with the "illustrious Leitz Dual Range Summicron of having the highest
resolution of any lenses tested". Per Modern Photography although it did'nt
have the date of the test...Other high quality Vivitar lens of yesteryear
listed and discussed as well...Check it out. Marty

Marty -- I got one of those 90/2.5 Vivitar Series 1 macro, and I found it
very sharp. I just got the 1:1 adapter, so I'll have to shoot some *really*
closeups now to further test it. FWIW, some older tests ranked this lens at
the *very* top on sharpness and quality. Even compared with the Zuiko
90/2.0, and some other $1000 macro short teles...
