The Tokina and Zuiko give similar scores with regards
to sharpness, however as the owner of a Zuiko 90mm and
the former owner of a Tamron SP 90mm (which give
comparable scores) and looking at pics from an
acquaintances 90/2.5 Tokina ATX (Nikon mount) they are
totally different lenses. The Tamron SP/ Tokina and
Zuiko give totally different performances. The
Tokina/Tamron are designed and perform exceptionally
at macro ranges, but fall down nearer to infinity. The
Zuiko performs exceptionally throughout the range from
1:2 to infinity. The others just don't look as good,
very harsh images (to my eye) at infinity and bad
bokeh.
