Vivtar also made a 28/2 (same as the Kiron?)and a Viv Series 1 28/1.9.  I had 
one and liked it.

<< If you want a very sharp 28mm/f2.0 instead, you should try a Kiron. Maybe
 (only maybe) not as good as the Zuiko 28mm/f2, but a lot cheaper, and a
 good deal better than the Zuiko 28/2.8.
