Just curious, as I have it on my late 70's Motobecane 10-speed that I got from
a garage sale in "never used" condition for $25. Beautifully made light bike,
and thankfully not a mountain bike.
In the '70s, Suntour's V-GT rear derailleur was the best
sport/touring derailleur on the market, outshifting
Campagnolo gear that cost many times its price. The
slant-parallelogram became the world standard design thanks
to Suntour.
