It is a 'shoulder bag' with a stabilizing strap. It is worn on your back while
cycling. Here in the US most large cities have companies that make deliveries by
bicycle. The bicycle messengers use the bags for carrying the delivery items.
Some
of the bags are quite large. The bags have become quite trendy as of late, and
there
are many manufacturers. Timbuk2 is my favorite, and they manufacture the real
thing.
The inner portion of the bag is lined with a 'truck tarp' material. The bags
will
last forever and are very waterproof. They can be ordered in a multitude of
colors,
and are pretty much made to order. Check out their website for an idea of what
the
bags look like. http://WWW.Timbuk2.com/ (BTW the 'steel' colored Cordura is
very
close to an 18 0ray.)
