Had them both, sold the Zuiko 350/2.8 and kept the Tamron 300/2.8 (and the
400/4).
I don't want to break any hearts and dreams, and I thought the 350 was a
beautifully, well crafted lens. The design and feel unmatched by any lens I
have held. The images were very good, excellent. But I feel could have been
better, especially for the bucks.
My $600 Tamron 300/2.8 outshot the $3500 Zuiko. There. I said it outloud.
The Tamron 400/4 is equally as sharp. Amazing lenses. Why didn't Tamron
make a 600 f5.6? (I won't moan about the lack of Zuiko good ED big stuff).
