I have found vignetting at 28mm with Cokin A so I recently switched over to
P.  However I don't like their circular polarizer as I find it awkward to
install and tight to rotate (it's also expensive!) so I'm sticking to my
circular threaded polarizer.  I have hand-held Cokins in front of the lens
myself - it's easy for the warmups etc but you really want to put the grads
in the holder and play with their positioning a bit.
