You will definitely want the P filters. The A filters will not be large
enough. The Cokin get a bum rap for not being completely neutral gray, but I
have not had problems myself, they seem pretty neutral to me. There are
other more expensive filters that are a true gray. A 4 stop grad is quite a
bit, I find that 1-2 stops works well for me. More than that does not look
natural to me. If you would like to give them a try contact me off-list and
we can arrange for you to borrow mine. I have a G1 & G2 soft edge. I find
the soft edge is easier to use, and again generally more natural looking.
YMMV (My primary films are Kodachrome 64 and and Agfa RSX)
