I really don't care one way or another. I have no problem at all,
rewinding a roll of film and leaving the tail out to finish up later. I
just put a sticky note on it saying how many frames I have used.. When I
re-load the film, I always count an extra frame before I start
shooting. Just have to make sure you advance to the unused portion of
film with the lens cap on. Otherwise you get those groovy double exposures.
