Sorry, should have mentioned that it's named after a hall of fame listee
named Doris Fang. The dubious honor has alternately been a Doris, a Fang,
and everything in between. Others can relate the exact particulars of her
find that spawned the whole thing. My memory isn't that good any more.

thanks, Jim. I kinda gathered that. I should have asked, where does the
term come from? What is the significance of using the word "fang"?
