I need some advice...
I've got the opportunity to pick up a MC 180/2.8 for $299 + tax. Glass is
exceptionally clear and it comes w/heliopan UV filter. It's definitely in
user condition showing a good amount of silver, but no dents or dings.
Aperture is snappy and oil free. I'm all about buying gear to use, so
that¹s not a problem for me.
Considering KEH had a 'bargain' grade lens for ~$350 not too long ago, I'm
thinking this might be a good deal and I should jump on it.
Only problem is I have this focal length covered with my 65-200/4. I also
was planning on a beefier tripod before any more lenses. And then it was a
showdown between the 180 and a 35/2.
So should I jump in and get this lens? Is it a deal I'll be kicking myself
for missing? Is the quality much better than the 65-200?
Thanks for any 'help.'
Mike
