My first SLR was a Soligor TM (made by Miranda) with M42 lens mount. I
bought a Pentacon (E. German) 29mm WA angle for it. I think that must
rate as the worst lens I ever had. It was mechanically "rough" and
needed to be stopped down at least 4 stops before the image was
anything like acceptable.
I've found little to criticise in the many Zuikos owned by my sons and
myself. The most disappointing was a 35mm F2 and perhaps the most
outstanding is the modest 24mm F2.8. I rate the 35-105 zoom as perhaps
the most remarkable performer.
