Disregard Roger... I have just compared the files sizes of images
saved (in TIFF) with resolutions of 2400 and 100. There is no
difference. I think that I knew that, but I just wish that I had not
sent an email before remembering that ;-).

Righto, I could do with an explanation with this: what do you mean by
reducing the resolution? I can't understand how image size can be
related to anything other than the number of pixels. I've never
understood what effect (if any) changing the ppi has on the image.
